Chris Bourbeau's passion for art has been life long and she has been dreaming of painting full time for over 20 years. While raising 2 children in Western Massachusetts she found little time to pursue that dream. After her children were grown she, and her husband moved to Nantucket in 2003. Chris started taking Art classes at the Artist Association of Nantucket and she hasn't stop painting since her arrival. She was admitted to the AAN in May of 2006. Like many artist's before her she has found Nantucket to be a special and magical place. Our Island is surrounded with beauty, whether you're walking on one of the south shore beaches or simply witnessing a spectacular sunset. Chris captures these special moments with her collection of beautiful paintings. She shows her works at the AAN or you can simply view some of these pieces on this site.
